Raisina Dialogue 2026 : India’s leading conference on geopolitics and geo-economics, the Raisina Dialogue, is set to begin in New Delhi from Thursday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will formally inaugurate the 11th edition of the event, which will run for three days from March 5 to March 7.
The international forum brings together policymakers, diplomats, scholars, and strategic experts from across the globe to discuss pressing global issues and emerging geopolitical trends.
Finland President Alexander Stubb to Attend as Chief Guest
The opening session will feature Alexander Stubb as the chief guest. He is scheduled to deliver the keynote address during the inaugural ceremony.The conference is jointly organized by Observer Research Foundation and India’s Ministry of External Affairs. It has grown into one of the most influential platforms for dialogue on international policy and global cooperation.
Focus on Global Power, Technology and Climate Challenges
The theme for this year’s dialogue is “Samskara – Claim, Adjustment and Progress.” Over the course of three days, discussions will revolve around six major themes, including global power shifts, climate change, technological transformation, and international trade.
A key focus of the discussions will be the evolving tension between traditional geopolitical alliances and the emergence of what experts describe as a “technopolar” global order driven by technological power.
Participants from 110 Countries
Organizers expect around 2,700 delegates to attend the event in person. Representatives from nearly 110 countries will participate, including ministers, former heads of state, lawmakers, military leaders, and policy experts.

International Leaders Arrive in New Delhi
Several prominent international leaders have already reached New Delhi to take part in the conference. Among them are Ian Borg, D. N. Dhungyel, and Dhananjay Ramful.In addition, Barry Faure and Vijitha Herath are also expected to participate in the discussions.
