Rajasthan –The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (RBSE) is considering a major change in the examination pattern for Class 10 students. According to information shared through the board’s official social media channels, students may get the opportunity to appear for the board examination twice in a single academic year starting from the 2027 session.
Aim to Reduce Academic Pressure
The idea behind conducting two exams in a year is to reduce the pressure that students often face during board examinations. By introducing an additional attempt, the board intends to give students another chance to improve their performance if they are not satisfied with their first result.
Proposal Sent to the State Government
During a press conference held on 11 March, the board secretary confirmed that a proposal regarding the two-exam system for Class 10 has already been prepared. The proposal has now been forwarded to the Government of Rajasthan for review.
The state government will study the proposal and may provide suggestions before giving its final approval. Only after this process will the new system be officially implemented.
Detailed Guidelines to Be Released Later
RBSE officials have stated that several important details are still under preparation. Information regarding the marking scheme, the method for calculating the final result, and other exam-related rules will be released in the coming months.
RBSE Class 10 Result 2026 Expected Soon
Meanwhile, reports suggest that the RBSE Class 10 Result 2026 could be announced by 20 March 2026. However, the board has not yet confirmed the exact date and time of the result declaration.
Students are advised to keep checking the official RBSE website for the latest updates regarding both the result and the proposed examination changes.
