President Droupadi Murmu Visits Vrindavan, Meets Sant Premanand Maharaj

Uttar Pradesh : Droupadi Murmu is currently on a three-day visit to Uttar Pradesh. As part of her tour, she reached Vrindavan on Friday, where she met renowned spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj at Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram.

Interaction Focused on Spirituality and Social Welfare

The meeting took place under tight security arrangements and was described as a courtesy visit. During their interaction, both discussed topics such as spirituality, service, and public welfare. The President spent time at the ashram, seeking blessings and understanding the teachings of the saint.

She also highlighted the importance of spiritual leaders in promoting values of service and morality in society. Their conversation reflected a shared focus on the well-being of people and the larger good of society.

Traditional Welcome at the Ashram

Upon her arrival at the ashram, followers and disciples of Premanand Maharaj welcomed the President with traditional rituals. The atmosphere was devotional, and the visit marked an important spiritual engagement during her tour.

Visit to Vatsalya Gram Planned

As part of her itinerary, the President will also visit Vatsalya Gram, an institution established by Sadhvi Ritambhara. The organization is known for taking care of elderly people and orphaned children. During her visit, she is expected to review its functioning and interact with residents.

Final Day to Include Govardhan Parikrama

The last day of her visit, March 21, will include prayers at Danghati Temple in Govardhan. She will also take part in the traditional seven-mile Govardhan Parikrama before returning to New Delhi.

Earlier Visits to Ayodhya and Mathura

Prior to this, on March 19, the President visited Ayodhya, where she installed the ‘Shri Ram Yantra’ at Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. The ritual was performed with Vedic chants, and the Yantra was placed on the second floor of the temple, marking what is considered the final stage of its construction.

Later, she arrived in Mathura on Thursday evening and visited the ISKCON Temple. There, she offered prayers and participated in the evening aarti ceremony.
