Naresh Meena Case Update : The challenges faced by Naresh Meena, who was incarcerated for striking the SDM during the assembly by-election in Samravata village of Tonk district, seem to be escalating once more. A plea to annul his bail was deliberated today in the SC/ST Court in Tonk.
Both sides presented their cases. After the conclusion of the arguments, the court decided to reserve its verdict and scheduled a date for March 7, 2026. Legal and political spheres are keenly observing this matter.
Bhagat Singh Sena chief Naresh Meena was detained and imprisoned for hitting SDM Amit Chaudhary during the Deoli-Uniyara assembly by-election. After nearly eight months behind bars, he was granted conditional release by the Rajasthan High Court.
Concerning this matter, Naresh Meena’s attorney, Fateh Ram Meena, asserts that an effort is underway to revoke his bail sanctioned by the High Court due to political animosity, despite Meena not breaching the conditions of the bail provided by the High Court.

Had he breached the stipulations, the High Court would have acted. Nevertheless, certain individuals hold resentment against him and are diligently striving to have his bail annulled.
Police apprehended 61 individuals :
Law enforcement apprehended around 61 individuals in relation to the Samravatha violence incident. Of these, 18 were granted bail by the Tonk District and Sessions Court. On January 3, 40 individuals were granted bail by the High Court.
