Hindaun City, Karauli : A Martyrs’ Day was observed at the Jatav Hostel located on Mahwa Road on April 2 to honor the brave individuals who were martyred during the Bharat Bandh movement in 2018. Members of the Jatav community gathered to pay their heartfelt tributes to the martyrs.
On this occasion, attendees offered floral tributes and remembered the sacrifices of the brave souls. Speakers said that those who sacrificed their lives for the restoration of the SC/ST Act will always remain a source of inspiration for society.
During the program, respected members of the community also pledged to continue the struggle for unity, equality, and the protection of rights. At the end of the event, everyone observed a two-minute silence to pray for the peace of the martyrs’ souls.
The program concluded with slogans of “Long live the martyrs.” Many prominent individuals were present, including Ramprasad, Kamal Mahmadpuriya, Ramotar Dhindhora, Deshraj (Nagariya Pura), Chhalleswar Dhotivale, Naval, Dharm Singh Banki, student leader Satish Banki, Samay Singh Fauji, Pratap Dhindhora, and contractor Puran.
Rinku Khedi Haivat, State Secretary of Azad Samaj Party Kanshiram Rajasthan, highlighted the sacrifice of Pawan, a 21-year-old youth from Jhadoli village in Alwar district. He said that such a sacrifice at a young age in a social movement is rare and serves as a strong inspiration for the youth of society.
