Karauli, Rajasthan : District Collector Neelabh Saxena on Tuesday closely inspected the preparations and arrangements for the Chaitra Mela and Kailadevi Mela, which begins on March 16th. During the inspection, he directed the cleaning of the toilets constructed for pilgrims at Padewa and Mamachari and ensured water supply at the toilets.
He also provided necessary guidelines to the concerned officials regarding the provision of various basic amenities, including drinking water, shade, medical care, mobile and stationary toilet facilities, and cleanliness.
He directed the officials and employees to ensure that the pilgrims do not face any problems while ensuring the availability of all basic amenities. He also issued instructions to the concerned officials regarding law and order.
During the inspection, the District Collector ordered Sitaram Gurjar, Assistant Development Officer of the Panchayat Samiti Karauli, to install gates and ensure water supply at the toilets constructed by the Khohri Gram Panchayat on the bypass. Apart from this, he inspected the bus parking area and instructed AEN Meghram Meena of the Electricity Department to raise the overhead power line.
After this, the District Collector reached Kaila Devi Police Station and took the salute of the Guard of Honour and had a detailed discussion with the concerned officers on law and order. He said that the officers should ensure that the devotees can have a smooth darshan of Kaila Maa.
During this, Sub-Divisional Officer Karauli Premraj Meena, Deputy Superintendent of Police Meena Meena, Tehsildar Karauli, Kailadevi Village Development Officer Praveen Sharma, Deputy Sarpanch Kailadevi Radheshyam Mali along with officers and employees of all other departments and authorities and members of the temple trust were present.
