Early Life and Education
Gurudeen Verma was born on 1 July 1975 in Thoonsra village in the Baran district of Rajasthan, India, into a poor farmer family. His father, Ghansilal Verma, was a farmer and his mother, Nainki Bai Verma, was a homemaker. He is the fifth among six siblings.

Verma spent his childhood in his native village and completed his primary education there up to Class 8 (1988–1989). He later attended school in Ratavad village, about 6 kilometers away from his hometown, where he completed Classes 9 and 10 (1990–1991). During his school years, he helped his father with agricultural work. After completing his Class 10 examinations, he worked as a daily wage laborer in Baran for a month and used his earnings to pay his tuition fees.
For higher secondary education, Verma moved to Udaipur in 1992–1993 and lived with his elder brother while studying in the Biology stream for Classes 11 and 12. After completing his higher secondary education, he returned to Baran district. Due to financial difficulties in the family, he spent some time selling vegetables on a bicycle in nearby villages.
Despite economic challenges, Verma continued his education and completed his bachelor’s degree as a private (self-study) candidate from Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer. During this period, he supported himself by teaching in private schools and providing private tuition in Baran for about five years.

Teaching Career
In 1998, Verma was selected for the BSTC (Basic School Teaching Certificate) training program in Kota, Rajasthan, which he successfully completed in 2000. From 2000 to June 2006, he worked as a teacher in private schools in Kota.
In February 2007, he was selected for government service through the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). In September 2007, he received his first appointment as a Third Grade Government Teacher at the Government Primary School in Motakhetar village, under Varli Panchayat in the Pindwara block of Sirohi district, Rajasthan.

He currently serves as a Third Grade Teacher at the Government Senior Secondary School in Nandia village, Pindwara block, Sirohi district.
Social Work and Views
Apart from his teaching career, Verma is known for his social awareness activities. He has consistently spoken against social practices such as dowry, death feasts, child marriage, purdah system, and superstitions. Notably, he himself married without accepting dowry, setting an example in society.
Personal Life
Gurudeen Verma lives with his wife, Manjubala Verma, and their daughter, Mihika Verma. Every year on his daughter’s birthday, he donates educational materials or useful items to students in his school.
