UP News : The Bahujan Samaj Party is preparing for large-scale programs across several states on March 15 to commemorate the birth anniversary of its founder Kanshi Ram. Party chief Mayawati has already instructed party leaders to ensure strong participation and make the events impactful.
In Lucknow, the main event will be held at Kanshi Ram Sthal, where more than two lakh supporters are expected to gather to pay tribute on the leader’s 92nd birth anniversary.
Programs Planned Across Multiple States
Apart from Uttar Pradesh, the party has scheduled events in several other states, including Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Telangana, West Bengal, Punjab and Kerala.
Many of these states are politically significant for the party, especially because some of them are expected to hold assembly elections within the next year. Party leaders believe the anniversary events will help strengthen the organization’s presence and mobilize supporters.
Akash Anand to Address Rally in Bharatpur
The party’s national coordinator Akash Anand is scheduled to address a major rally in Bharatpur. To ensure the rally’s success, Mayawati has assigned responsibilities to several party officials.
Leaders have also been tasked with organizing gatherings in different states. Randhir Singh Beniwal will oversee mobilization in Haryana and Punjab, while Ramji Gautam has been given responsibility in Maharashtra. Other leaders, including Atar Singh and Rajaram, will coordinate events in Telangana and Madhya Pradesh respectively.
Other Parties Also Preparing Events
Political observers say that the Indian National Congress and the Samajwadi Party are also planning programs to mark Kanshi Ram’s birth anniversary. Because of this, the BSP leadership is keeping a close watch on developments and aiming to make its own events more impactful.
With multiple parties preparing separate programs, the anniversary of Kanshi Ram is expected to become an important political moment, especially in the evolving political landscape of Uttar Pradesh.
