Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh : The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) paid tribute to its founder and the great leader of the Bahujan movement, Kanshi Ram, by organizing programs across the country on the occasion of his birth anniversary. On this occasion, party chief Mayawati urged the Bahujan community to join the BSP and strengthen the struggle for social justice and political rights.
According to a press release issued by the BSP, Kanshi Ram dedicated his entire life to promoting the ideas of Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and to raising awareness among the Bahujan community. Due to his struggles and ideology, the Bahujan society in the country has become more politically aware today.

Mayawati said that Kanshi Ram’s dream was to provide the Bahujan community with the “master key of power,” so that the poor, Dalits, Adivasis, backward classes, and other marginalized sections of society could live with dignity and rights. She stated that BSP is the only party truly committed to the welfare, development, and upliftment of the Bahujan community.
She also alleged that other political parties try to secure the votes of the Bahujan community during elections but ignore their interests after coming to power. Mayawati said that people should remain cautious of such parties and that the Bahujan community must recognize its political strength and remain united.
The BSP chief also said that during her government in Uttar Pradesh, law and order was strengthened and the rule of law was established. Several public welfare and development schemes were implemented, which accelerated the state’s progress.
On the occasion of Kanshi Ram Jayanti, party workers organized programs in several states across the country, including Uttar Pradesh. In Noida, party leaders and workers paid floral tribute to Kanshi Ram’s statue at the Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal. A large number of party workers and supporters were present during the event.
The BSP stated that Kanshi Ram’s life and struggle remain an inspiration for the Bahujan community, and that only by following the path shown by him can society achieve dignity, rights, and political empowerment.
