Karauli, Rajasthan : As part of the free eye check-up and spectacle distribution campaign being conducted in the district by the Pure India Trust, a massive eye check-up camp was organized today at the Government School in Gram Panchayat Saurya. During the camp, the eyes of villagers—including women, the elderly, and school students—were examined by specialist doctors using state-of-the-art equipment.
Beneficiaries at the camp who were diagnosed with vision impairments were provided with free spectacles and eye drops tailored to their specific prescriptions. Meanwhile, patients requiring further medical treatment or surgery were given medical consultations and guided toward appropriate care.
A medical team from the Pure India Trust arrived from Jaipur; they examined a large number of villagers and raised awareness regarding the importance of eye care and undergoing periodic check-ups.
The Trust’s founder, Prashant Pal, stated that making healthcare facilities accessible in the rural areas of Karauli district is a top priority for the organization. This campaign is being conducted with precisely this objective: to ensure that needy individuals can access quality eye care services right within their own villages.
