Hindaun City, Karauli : The court of Senior Civil Judge Rajpal Meena in Hindaun City has taken strict action against a tenant for non-payment of rent and handed over possession of a shop located in Jagdamba Market to its owner.
On Wednesday, acting on the court’s order, Court Nazir Hitesh Kumar Goyal reached the spot and, in compliance with the warrant issued under Order 21 Rule 35, handed over possession of the shop to decree-holder Sunita, wife of Ashok Kumar, a resident of Jaipur.
According to the case details, Parmoli Lal, son of Pramudayal, had rented the shop in Jagdamba Market from Sunita Devi on September 23, 2008, at a monthly rent of ₹3,025. By the year 2022, rent arrears of ₹60,500 had accumulated, following which the property owner filed a case in the senior civil court.
On February 7, 2025, the court issued a decree, fixing the monthly rent at ₹5,350 and ordered the recovery of the outstanding amount. As the decree was not complied with, the court issued a possession warrant, leading to today’s action.
