Devid Rana says that during a trip to Jaisalmer, he casually made videos of himself dancing to Rajasthani songs and shared them on Instagram. Gradually, the videos started going viral on social media. The unique blend of traditional Rajasthani ambiance and modern dance style gave Devid a distinct identity.
Videos Went Viral, Offers Started Pouring In
As soon as Devid’s videos went viral, several gaming companies contacted him. Companies involved in promoting gaming apps offered him up to Rs. 2 lakh for each reel. However, David turned down some of the offers. Devid Rana said,
“I could have earned money, but I want to be selective about the promotions I do.”
This mindset sets him apart from other influencers.
1 Million Followers Achieved
As a result of his hard work and consistent content creation, Devid Rana’s Instagram account crossed the 1 million (10 lakh) follower mark in a short time. Today, he is recognized not only in Jaisalmer but across the country for his videos and style.
Message for the Youth
In a conversation with Rajasthan18.in, Devid Rana said that even with limited resources, one can dream big and fulfill those dreams. David believes that if you have talent, the passion to work hard, and you use social media effectively, you can make a name for yourself across the country, even if you come from a village.
