Uttar Pradesh: 40 IAS Officers Transferred, 15 Districts Get New DMs

Uttar Pradesh: The government of Uttar Pradesh has carried out a significant administrative reshuffle, transferring 40 senior IAS officers across the state. As part of this move, District Magistrates (DMs) in 15 districts have been replaced, with all officers being assigned new responsibilities.

New District Magistrates Appointed

Among the key appointments, Gaurang Rathi has been posted as DM of Jhansi, while Inderjit Singh will take charge in Sultanpur. Kritika Sharma has been assigned Bulandshahr, and Annapurna Garg will serve as the new DM of Shravasti. Meanwhile, Alok Yadav has been posted to Shamli.

In other changes, Arvind Kumar Chauhan has been given charge of Saharanpur, Nitin Gaud will oversee Amroha, Abhishek Goyal has been appointed in Hamirpur, and Nidhi Gupta Vats will head Fatehpur district.

More Key Postings Across Districts

Continuing the reshuffle, Ghanshyam Meena has been made DM of Unnao, Anjani Kumar Singh will serve in Lakhimpur Kheri, and Inderjit Tripathi has been posted to Mainpuri. Notably, Manish Bansal has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Agra.

Other Administrative Assignments

Apart from district-level postings, several IAS officers have been assigned roles such as Special Secretary, Managing Director, and Divisional Commissioner, reflecting a broader restructuring of administrative responsibilities.

Orders to Take Charge Immediately

According to the official directive issued by the state government, the reshuffle aims to enhance administrative efficiency. All officers have been instructed to assume their new roles with immediate effect.
