UP NEWS : Speculation surrounding the much-awaited cabinet expansion in Uttar Pradesh may soon come to an end. According to sources, the state government is likely to carry out the cabinet expansion on Sunday, May 10.

At present, 6 ministerial positions are vacant in the Uttar Pradesh government. The state currently has 54 ministers, while the maximum strength of the cabinet can go up to 60.

Six Names Surface Ahead of Possible Oath Ceremony

Sources indicate that 6 new faces may be inducted into the Uttar Pradesh cabinet during the proposed expansion. The names being discussed are:

  1. Krishna Paswan
  2. Pooja Pal, Samajwadi Party rebel MLA
  3. Manoj Pandey
  4. Bhupendra Chaudhary
  5. Ashok Kataria
  6. Romi Sahani
