Rajasthan News : A Controversy that began with a social media comment in Rajasthan’s Shiv Assembly Area has now turned into a legal battle. The conflict between bhajan singer Chhotu Singh Rawna and Shiv MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati took a serious turn on Wednesday.

Complaint Filed at Shiv Police Station

Chhotu Singh Rawna, accompanied by his supporters, reached Shiv police station and submitted a written complaint against MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati and five others.

Taking the matter seriously, the police registered a case under relevant sections and initiated an investigation. The case has now been handed over to the CID-Crime Branch for further probe.

Case Registered Under BNS Sections

According to Shiv Station Officer Satyaprakash Vishnoi, a case has been filed against the MLA under Sections 352 and 79 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The singer also submitted a pen drive along with important documents as evidence to support his allegations.

Allegations of Threats Over Several Years

Chhotu Singh Rawna claimed that he has been receiving threats for the past two to three years. He alleged that the threats were made in the name of Ravindra Singh Bhati, his team, and associated groups.

He further stated that a few days ago, he received a direct phone call from the MLA, which, according to him, confirmed the source of the threats.

Supporters Accompany Singer to Police Station

The singer said he had to seek support from members of his community before approaching the police. He claimed that filing a complaint against a sitting MLA is not easy, which is why people accompanied him to the station.

He has demanded strict action over alleged death threats, abuse, and intimidation.

Police Begin Investigation

Police have registered the complaint against the MLA and others and started the investigation process. With the matter now transferred to the CID-Crime Branch, further developments are expected as authorities examine the evidence submitted.
