Bharatpur, Rajasthan : A case has come to light in which a young man from Ailu village, under the Rudawal police station area, was taken away on the pretext of securing him a job in Punjab and then disappeared. The victim’s family has expressed fears that something untoward has happened to the young man or that he has been forced into some illegal business.
Police have registered a case against two named accused and initiated an investigation. Baldev, son of Gordhan, a resident of Ailu, stated in his report to the police that on February 9, 2025, his relatives, Bablu and Arjun, residents of Tiwara, Karauli, came to his house.
They lured Baldev’s brother, Shailendra, with the promise of a job in Punjab paying 12,000 rupees per month and providing board and lodging. Trusting them, the family sent Shailendra with them.

According to the report, Shailendra’s father, Gordhan, died on November 16, 2025. When Baldev contacted the accused to call his brother home or talk to him during this tragic time, they began to evade his advances. The accused neither allowed the family to speak to the brother nor revealed his whereabouts.
When the family reached the accused’s home in Karauli, they received no satisfactory answer there either. The family told the police that they suspected Shailendra had either been sold or forced into some illegal activity.
Currently, the Rudawal police station has registered a case against the accused and is searching for the missing youth based on technical evidence and mobile location.
