Hindaun City, Karauli : District Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Satish Chand Meena conducted a surprise inspection of hospitals in the Shri Mahaveerji area on Thursday. During the visit, he took strict action at a private hospital after finding an inactive sonography machine, which was immediately sealed.
At the Government Community Health Center, Dr. Meena reviewed the overall healthcare services and issued firm instructions to improve the existing medical arrangements. He emphasized the need for better preparedness to deal with heatwave conditions during the summer season and also reviewed the ongoing HPV vaccination programme in detail.
Highlighting concerns over the current progress, he said that efforts must be accelerated to increase coverage under the vaccination drive.
Review Meeting on Gender Ratio and Health Services
A meeting was also held at the B.C.M.O. office where issues related to gender ratio imbalance were discussed in detail. Dr. Meena stressed the importance of improving the sex ratio and directed concerned officials to take effective and result-oriented steps in this direction.
He made it clear that any negligence in healthcare services will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken wherever required.
The meeting was attended by B.C.M.O. Dr. Darshan Singh, PCPNDT District Programme Coordinator Nagina Sharma, and DPC IEC Lakhan Singh Lodha.
