Rajasthan Govt Releases 6th Installment for Farmers on April 22

Jaipur, Rajasthan : The Rajasthan government is set to release the sixth installment of the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on April 22. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will officially transfer the funds during a state-level program in Osian, Jodhpur.

According to Cooperative Minister (Independent Charge) Gautam Kumar Dak, more than ₹665 crore will be directly credited to the bank accounts of over 66 lakh farmers across the state under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

State-Level Event in Osian, Participation Across Rajasthan

The main program will take place in Osian, while parallel events will also be organized at district, block, and village levels. These programs are being coordinated by the Agriculture Department to ensure maximum farmer participation.

₹2726 Crore Already Distributed in Previous Installments

Officials highlighted that under the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the state has already disbursed over ₹2726 crore to more than 71 lakh farmer families through five previous installments.

Additional Support Alongside PM Kisan Scheme

The state scheme works as a supplement to the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Over the past two and a half years, more than 76 lakh farmers in Rajasthan have received ₹9583 crore through six installments under the central scheme.

Under the state initiative, eligible farmers receive an additional ₹3000 annually in three equal installments. This brings the total yearly financial support for farmers in Rajasthan to ₹9000.

Focus on Strengthening Farmer Welfare

With this latest installment, the state government aims to provide timely financial assistance to farmers, helping them manage agricultural expenses and maintain stability in their livelihoods.
