Jaipur, Rajasthan: 9-year-old Araina Sangwan from Rohtak, Haryana, gave a stellar performance at the Junior Miss India Season-4 competition held at the Clarks Hotel in Amer, Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, winning both the Best Dress Award and the Personality Award. Araina Sangwan secured the seventh position in the overall category.
The grand event of Junior Miss India Season-4 was held from January 6th to 8th, 2026, at the Clarks Amer Hotel in Jaipur, with 175 top national finalists selected from 25 states across the country participating. All participants were selected through more than 5000 online and offline auditions held throughout India.

Araina Sangwan, who lives in the Sun City area of Rohtak, has had a keen interest in modeling and fashion since childhood. Araina Sangwan’s father, Anil Sangwan, is an inspector in the Health Department, and her mother, Geeta, is a professor. Araina has previously performed exceptionally well in competitions held in several states, including Goa and Delhi, and has also acted in a Punjabi horror web series.
At the tender age of 9, Arayna Sangwan has already started making her mark.

Two Months of Training:
Before the Junior Miss India Season-4 competition, all participants received online professional training for the past two months, which included important sessions on confidence building, ramp walk, stage presence, communication skills, photo posing, grooming, cyber safety awareness, self-care, and basic makeup.
In Jaipur, the participants also received offline stage training from industry experts from Mumbai. Key trainers included Miss Universe India Nayonita Lodh (Official Trainer) and renowned fashion choreographer and show director Yatin Gandhi.

The guests present at the inauguration of the event expressed their delight at Jaipur being chosen for this prestigious event and said that this event further strengthens the city’s cultural and fashion identity on a global platform. Junior Miss India founder Sarabjit Singh stated that Season 4 has been the biggest season yet, witnessing tremendous enthusiasm both nationally and internationally.
He said that the platform’s objective is not just about beauty, but also about the holistic development of children, fostering confidence, cultural awareness, leadership skills, and responsible personalities.The three-day event showcased a unique blend of fashion, culture, entertainment, and self-development through several exciting rounds, training sessions, and the grand finale.
