Samrat Choudhary Chosen as BJP Legislature Leader
Following the resignation, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) moved swiftly to elect its legislative party leader. Samrat Choudhary has been unanimously chosen for the role during a crucial meeting held in Patna. The meeting took place in the presence of senior party leaders, including Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
The proposal for Choudhary’s name was put forward by key BJP leaders Vijay Sinha, Mangal Pandey, and Dilip Jaiswal, reflecting strong internal support for his leadership.
Government Formation Process Begins
Samrat Choudhary is expected to meet the Governor, Lieutenant General (Retd.) Syed Ata Hasnain, shortly to formally stake claim to form the new government. As the elected leader of the BJP MLA meeting , he is set to become the next Chief Minister under the NDA government.
Deputy Chief Ministers Finalized
Alongside the Chief Minister’s name, the new leadership structure also includes two Deputy Chief Ministers:
- Vijay Kumar Choudhary – MLA from Sarairanjan (Samastipur)
- Bijendra Yadav – MLA from Supaul
Both leaders are experienced politicians and are expected to play key roles in the new administration.
