CBSE Class 10 Result : A major update has emerged regarding the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 results for 2026. Around 25 lakh students are eagerly waiting for their scores, which are expected to be released sometime this week. However, the board has not yet announced an official date.
Exams Held Across the Country
The CBSE board examinations for 2026 began on February 17 and continued till April. Class 10 exams concluded on March 11, while Class 12 exams ended on April 10.
This year, more than 43 lakh students appeared for the exams at thousands of centers nationwide. Out of these, nearly 25 lakh students were from Class 10, while around 18.5 lakh were from Class 12.
Where and How to Check Results
Once declared, students will be able to access their results through multiple official platforms, including:
- cbse.gov.in
- results.nic.in
- results.digilocker.gov.in
- umang.gov.in
To check their results, students will need to enter details such as roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth. A security pin displayed on the screen must also be filled in.
Digital Marksheet
After the results are announced, digital marksheets and certificates will be made available on DigiLocker. This will allow students to download their documents without waiting for physical copies.
What Last Year’s Trend Suggests
Looking at previous trends, CBSE declared both Class 10 and 12 results on May 13 last year. This year too, results are likely to be announced around mid-May, though the introduction of the two-session system may slightly impact the timeline.
