Assistant Keeper:
Eligibility and Role –
The single vacancy for Assistant Keeper is unreserved and also open to PwBD candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Anthropology along with a diploma in Museology from a recognized institute.
Experience: At least one year of experience in handling and preserving museum specimens is desirable.
Job Role & Location: The selected candidate will be based in Kolkata but may be required to work across India. Responsibilities include developing regional anthropology museums and conducting field studies in tribal areas.
Senior Store Officer Grade-II: Key Details
A total of 7 vacancies are available at DRDO headquarters in New Delhi (5 UR, 1 OBC, 1 SC), including one post reserved for PwBD (blindness/low vision).
Pay Level: Level-10 (Gazetted, Ministerial)
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Business Studies, or Public Administration, OR
Bachelor’s degree with a diploma in Material Management or Logistics
Experience: 2 years (for Master’s degree holders)4 years (for Bachelor’s/diploma holders)
Responsibilities: Selected candidates will handle procurement processes, vendor evaluation, and disposal of surplus materials.
Livestock Officer: Eligibility and Responsibilities
The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying will recruit 8 Livestock Officers (4 EWS, 1 OBC, 2 SC, 1 ST).
Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, along with registration in a recognized Veterinary Council, is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in livestock development, animal health, or related sectors.
Job Role: This is a full-time clinical position with no scope for private practice. Responsibilities include supporting government schemes, policy development, and coordination with international bodies like FAO and OIE.
Age Limit

Selection Process
If the number of applicants is high, UPSC may shortlist candidates based on higher qualifications, relevant experience, or a recruitment test.
The examination, if conducted, may take place in major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bhopal, and Lucknow.
