US News – Former U.S. President Donald Trump has voiced strong criticism against Iran, accusing it of mishandling the passage of oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz. He stated that Iran’s recent actions are “very poor” and do not align with prior understandings between the two nations.

Claims of Agreement Violation

In a post shared on Truth Social, Trump suggested that Iran’s behavior contradicts what he described as an earlier agreement. He remarked that restricting or complicating the movement of oil through the strategic waterway is “not honorable” and falls short of expectations set during negotiations.

Allegations of Charging Fees

Earlier, Trump also referred to reports claiming that Iran might be imposing fees on oil tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz. He strongly opposed such measures, saying that Iran should not be charging any kind of toll.

Call for Immediate Action

Trump urged that if these reports are accurate, Iran must stop the practice immediately. His comments highlight growing tensions over control and access to one of the world’s most critical oil transit routes.
