Karauli / Jaipur : At the Children’s Festival held in Jaipur, 14-year-old Vidhi Pathak from Karauli mesmerized everyone by singing her district’s famous Languriya folk song. The festival, organized for children aged 14 to 18, gives them a unique opportunity to showcase their district’s identity across the state.

The campaign poster for the festival was unveiled by the state Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. The Chief Minister said, “To promote local tourism, it is important that children highlight the unique aspects of their districts that are still unknown.”
Opportunities for Children
Children are encouraged to create a short video about a special aspect of their city or village and explain how it can promote local tourism and cultural heritage.
Participants in the festival will get several opportunities:
- A chance to interact with the Chief Minister
- An opportunity to showcase their art at the state level
- Participation in tableaux representing all 41 districts, where they can display district products, farming, monuments, or any other special aspect
Founder Jahnavi Sharma stated that this platform provides children a great chance to showcase their talent and highlight their district’s identity across the state.
