Bharatpur Government School Crumbles as Repairs Remain Pending

Bharatpur, Rajasthan : The Government Primary School building in Nagla Dhand, Kamalpura, has fallen into disrepair. Cracks have appeared in the school’s classrooms and veranda, forcing children to study under the dilapidated veranda.

Family members fear an accident. Kamalpura’s PO, Bharat Lal Meena, stated that the government had requested a proposal in September 2025, detailing the school’s dilapidated condition. Officials have been informed of this matter several times. Despite this, no repairs or renovations have been made to the building.

He added that instructions were received from the director’s level that children should not study in the open or under trees. A meeting was held regarding this matter, but the school’s poor condition makes it difficult for children to study in a safe environment.

The school building is riddled with cracks and cracked floors. There are no toilets, and the campus is littered with garbage. Villagers say that despite the dire situation, the responsible officials are paying no attention. The villagers have also protested the school’s condition.

Currently, the school has 35 children enrolled, who are forced to study in this dilapidated building. As a result, parents are constantly fearful of a major accident.
