Iran Israel War : Amid the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, tensions across the Middle East remain extremely high. In this situation, Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz held a phone conversation with US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to discuss the current developments in the war.
During the discussion, the United States reaffirmed its strong support for Israel and encouraged it to continue its military operations until its objectives are achieved.
Condolences Over US Soldiers’ Death
According to Israel’s Defense Ministry, Katz expressed deep sorrow over the death of six American soldiers who were reportedly killed in Iranian attacks. He assured that Israel would continue to cooperate with the United States and provide all possible assistance to protect American forces stationed in the region.
Katz also thanked US President Donald Trump for his backing, highlighting the strategic cooperation between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against Iran. He said that this coordination could significantly influence regional and global dynamics.

Katz also acknowledged the support provided by Hegseth, especially in helping protect Israeli civilians from Iranian missile attacks. He emphasized that the close coordination between the US military and the Israel Defense Forces has strengthened Israel’s defense operations.
Hegseth, in turn, praised Israel’s military capabilities and the operational efficiency of the Israeli forces. He reportedly assured Katz that the United States stands firmly with Israel and supports its efforts in the ongoing conflict.
Iran Issues Warning to Israel and US
Meanwhile, Iran has issued a strong warning, stating that if the United States and Israel attempt to overthrow the Iranian leadership, it could retaliate by targeting Israel’s Dimona Nuclear Research Center.
This warning came after Katz suggested that Iran’s future leadership could also become a target in the conflict.
Missile and Drone Attacks Continue
Iran’s elite military force, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has reportedly launched the 19th wave of its operation called “True Promise 4.” The operation includes missile and drone attacks aimed at Israeli positions as the confrontation between the two sides continues to escalate.
