Vasundhara Raje Completes Self-Enumeration for Census 2027, Urges Citizens to Participate

Dholpur, Rajasthan : In a significant step under the first phase of Census 2027, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje successfully completed her self-enumeration through the official census portal.

By personally participating in the digital process, she encouraged citizens across the district to actively take part in this important national exercise and complete their self-enumeration within the given timeline.

Citizens Get Opportunity for Self-Enumeration for the First Time

Speaking on the occasion, Raje said that for the first time in the country’s census history, citizens have been given an opportunity to fill in their own details digitally through the official portal. She described it as a major step towards transparency, technological advancement, and public participation.

She said the Census is not merely a population count, but a strong foundation for national development, effective policy-making, and welfare planning.

Census Data Plays Key Role in Development Planning

Raje highlighted that data collected through the Census helps governments prepare better plans in key sectors such as education, healthcare, employment, housing, infrastructure, and social security.

She expressed satisfaction over Rajasthan’s preparations for Census 2027 and said the state is moving steadily toward the successful implementation of this nationwide program.

Field Work Scheduled from May 16 to June 14

She informed that the Rajasthan government has scheduled the first phase of field operations for Census 2027 from May 16 to June 14. Before that, citizens across the state have been given the opportunity to complete self-enumeration digitally from May 1 to May 15.

She said this digital initiative allows people to enter their information themselves in a convenient and secure manner.

Digital Census a Historic Step Towards Developed India

Raje said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has described Census 2027 as an important foundation for the vision of Developed India 2047. She added that the country’s first fully digital census marks a historic step toward technology-driven and transparent governance.

Appeal to Provide Accurate and Updated Information

She appealed to citizens across the state and district to participate actively and provide accurate, complete, and updated information.

She assured that all information submitted during the Census process will remain completely confidential and will not be shared with any individual, institution, or department. The collected data will be used solely for gathering accurate population statistics and for effective planning of public welfare schemes and socio-economic development.

Poster of Census 2027 Released

During the event, the official poster of Census 2027 was also unveiled.

Among those present on the occasion were District Census Officer and District Collector Srinidhi B.T., Deputy District Census Officer and Deputy Director of Economics and Statistics Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Director of Information and Public Relations Rajkumar Meena, District Coordinator Brijesh Sharma, along with other officials.
