David Warner Arrested: Former Australian batting star David Warner has landed in serious trouble while actively leading Karachi Kings in the ongoing Pakistan Super League 2026. The cricketer reportedly returned to Australia during a short break between matches, but his visit has taken an unfortunate turn.

Arrest in Sydney Over Drink Driving

According to reports, Warner was arrested in Sydney’s Maroubra area after being caught driving under the influence. Authorities from New South Wales Police conducted a breath test, which revealed a blood alcohol reading of 0.104—well above the legal limit in Australia.

Following the incident, Warner was taken into custody and transported to Maroubra Police Station. The charge is considered serious under Australian law, potentially leading to legal consequences.

Strong Start in PSL 2026

Despite the controversy, Warner’s team Karachi Kings has had an impressive start in the tournament. The side secured victories in all three of their opening matches:

  • A 14-run win against Quetta Gladiators
  • A 4-wicket victory over Lahore Qalandars
  • A 5-wicket triumph against Rawalpindi

The team is scheduled to play its fourth match on April 9.
