Pathanamthitta, Kerala: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a massive election rally in Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district, sharply criticizing the current LDF government. PM Modi asserted that the days of LDF rule in Kerala are numbered and predicted that the BJP-led NDA will take charge this election.

“Change is in the Air”

Speaking to thousands of party workers and local residents, PM Modi emphasized that this election marks a new wave of change in Kerala. He urged the people to vote decisively on April 9 and hinted that by May 4, the state could witness an end to decades of misgovernance.

“The countdown has begun for the LDF government’s exit. For the first time, a BJP-NDA government will come to power in Kerala,” PM Modi said.

Criticism of LDF and UDF Governance

PM Modi did not hold back in criticizing both LDF and UDF governments, pointing to poor infrastructure and lack of development. He highlighted that roads are in disrepair, major bridges have not been built in years, and medical colleges face severe challenges.

“Where basic facilities are lacking, one can imagine the quality of life. It’s time to change this,”

he said, appealing to voters to support the NDA in bringing development to Kerala.

Promise of Rapid Development

The Prime Minister assured the audience that an NDA government would focus on improving roads, building new bridges, enhancing healthcare, and creating employment opportunities. He insisted that Kerala has immense potential but is lagging behind other states due to past neglect.

“BJP workers in Kerala are determined to bid farewell to Left rule. If NDA comes to power, Kerala’s growth story will be rewritten,” he stated.

Kerala’s Development Challenges

PM Modi pointed out that rural areas have been particularly neglected by both LDF and UDF administrations. Lack of investment in basic infrastructure has left roads, bridges, and other facilities in poor condition, slowing Kerala’s overall progress in comparison to other states.

“Kerala has the resources and potential, yet it remains behind in the development race,” Modi remarked.
