Haryana News : Haryanvi actress Anjali Raghav appeared before the Haryana State Commission for Women in Faridabad on April 2 and clarified her stand in the ongoing controversy involving Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh.
She stated clearly that she had not filed any formal complaint against Pawan Singh, but instead had raised concerns against a few individuals who allegedly created and circulated objectionable content.
Commission Removes Pawan Singh’s Name
After hearing her statement, Commission Chairperson Renu Bhatia announced that Pawan Singh’s name has been removed from the case.
She added that the actor had issued an apology to Anjali Raghav via social media, which played a role in resolving the issue.
Actress Says She Has Forgiven the Actor
During the hearing, Anjali Raghav informed the panel that she does not wish to pursue earlier allegations. She confirmed that Pawan Singh had apologized publicly, and she has now accepted it.
According to her, there is no longer any personal grievance against him.
Allegations Linked to Viral Video Incident
The matter began after an incident during a stage performance in Lucknow, where a video was recorded and widely circulated online.
Anjali alleged that some individuals not only spread the video but also uploaded her photos and personal contact details on inappropriate websites, causing her severe mental distress.
Complaint Targets Three Individuals
The actress named three individuals — Santosh Singh Yadav, Akash, and another person — accusing them of creating objectionable videos.She also claimed that a member of Pawan Singh’s PR team shared misleading content about her on social media, damaging her reputation.
Action to Be Taken Against Accused
Chairperson Renu Bhatia stated that action will now focus on the three individuals named by the actress. They will be summoned for questioning in the next hearing.
The Commission has scheduled the next hearing on April 6 in Panchkula, directing all concerned parties to appear.
Case Shifts Focus Away from Actor
With Anjali Raghav withdrawing her allegations and accepting Pawan Singh’s apology, the case has now shifted its focus entirely toward those accused of circulating objectionable and defamatory content online.
