Bihar: 32 Ministers Join Samrat Choudhary Government, PM Modi Attends Ceremony

Bihar : Twenty-two days after Samrat Choudhary took charge as Chief Minister, the Bihar cabinet was expanded on Thursday in a grand ceremony. A total of 32 ministers, including Nishant Kumar, were inducted into the Samrat cabinet.

The new cabinet includes 15 ministers from the Bharatiya Janata Party, 13 from the Janata Dal (United), two from Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), and one minister each from Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha.

The swearing-in ceremony lasted around 25 minutes, with five legislators taking the oath together in each round.

In the first round, Nishant Kumar, Shravan Kumar, Vijay Sinha, Lesi Singh, and Dilip Jaiswal took the oath. Nishant Kumar has become a minister for the first time.

Narendra Modi also attended the ceremony. After the event, the Prime Minister called Nitish Kumar to the stage and greeted him. During their interaction, Nitish Kumar was seen holding the Prime Minister’s shoulder while exchanging greetings.
