Belagavi Woman Alleges ₹19 Lakh Fraud, Blackmail, and Theft

Belagavi, Karnataka: A shocking case of alleged fraud and blackmail has come to light in Belagavi, where a woman has accused Ishwar Singh Prem Singh Badgujar of cheating her, misusing intimate videos, and stealing valuables including cash, gold, and a mobile phone.

According to the victim’s lawyer, Mandakini, “A girl from Shahapur came into contact with Ishwar Singh Prem Singh Badgujar. He allegedly forced a physical relationship with her and subsequently began blackmailing her, threatening to leak private photos and videos taken during the encounter if she did not meet his monetary demands. He reportedly extorted over ₹19 lakh, 150 grams of gold ornaments, and her iPhone, which was gifted by her mother.”

Victim Details the Alleged Exploitation

The victim recounted her experience, saying, “I came in contact with Ishwar Singh, who is Punjabi, via Instagram. After that, we gradually started interacting. Initially, he forced me into a physical relationship. Then he started asking for details about my background, including what I had in my accounts and even documents from my home. After that, he took money, my gold, and other valuables from me.”
