Orleans Masters 2026: The stage is set for an exciting women’s singles final at the Orleans Masters Badminton 2026, where seasoned campaigner Nozomi Okuhara will take on Thailand’s rising talent Pitchamon Opatniputh, also known as “Pink.” Both players are chasing their first title of the season, adding extra intensity to the showdown.

Former world champion Okuhara, now 31, secured her spot in the final after a commanding straight-game victory over India’s Tanvi Sharma, winning 21-9, 21-16. This marks her first final appearance of the year. On the other side, 2023 World Junior champion Opatniputh continued her impressive form by defeating another Indian player, Isharani Baruah, booking her place in her second final of 2026.

Meanwhile, host nation France enjoyed a flawless run in the semifinals, guaranteeing themselves the men’s singles title and a place in the mixed doubles final.

In men’s singles, second seed Alex Lanier delivered a dominant performance against Japan’s Yudai Okimoto, winning 21-14, 21-12. Joining him in the final is Toma Junior Popov, who comfortably beat China’s Hu Zhe An, the 2024 World Junior champion, with a scoreline of 21-16, 21-14.

The mixed doubles category also saw French success, as top seeds Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue advanced to their second consecutive final. The duo, who were runners-up at the All England, had to battle through three games to overcome Liu Kuang Heng and Jheng Yu Chieh, winning 18-21, 21-18, 21-16.

They will now face Denmark’s Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Boje in an all-European mixed doubles final, ensuring a thrilling conclusion to the tournament.With strong home support and top contenders across categories, the Orleans Masters 2026 promises an action-packed finale.
